The short version: Stokd is a tool for running your restaurant. Your data is yours, the subscription is month to month unless you choose yearly, and either of us can end it.
Stokd provides stock counting, checklists, prep boards and time-keeping for restaurants, delivered through the browser and installable to a phone’s home screen. Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page; the Time Clock tier is free.
The account owner controls who joins their restaurant and in what role. Staff accounts are free and belong to the people who use them — hours and records about a person are visible to that person.
Paid plans are billed per location, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, on this website. You can change plan or cancel from your billing page at any time: monthly plans stop at the end of the paid month, yearly plans run to the end of the paid year. When a paid plan ends you keep the free Time Clock tier and all of your data.
Everything your team records in Stokd belongs to your business. You can export it from inside the app, and you can ask for it to be deleted when you leave. See the privacy page for what is stored.
Stokd is provided as-is. It aims to be reliable and fast, but no software can promise perfection — figures should be checked before payroll is run, and the service’s liability is limited to what you have paid for it in the past twelve months.
