Stokd is a tool restaurants use to run stock counts, checklists and time-keeping. This page says what data it holds and what happens to it, in plain English.

What Stokd stores

• Account details — your name and email address, used to sign you in and show who did what inside your restaurant. If you run the shop, the phone number you can give during setup, which is only ever used to reach you about your own account — a payment that failed, a shop gone quiet, somebody locked out. It is optional, and leaving it blank costs you nothing.
• Your restaurant’s details — its name and address, so rotas, orders and the inspector’s report say where they belong.
• Work records — clock-ins and clock-outs, breaks, rotas, stock counts, task completions, prep marks and notes. This is the product: it exists so your team can see it.
• Notification subscriptions — if you turn notifications on, the address your device can be reached at: a push address issued by your browser, or, in the iPhone app, a token issued to that app. Used only to send the notifications you asked for, and removed when the device stops accepting them.

What Stokd doesn’t do

• No advertising, and no selling or sharing of your data with anyone for marketing.
• No tracking cookies on this website. The one piece of anyone else’s code here is the calendar on the book a demo page, provided by Cal.com — it loads only on that page, and only so you can pick a time.
• Nobody outside your restaurant’s team can see your restaurant’s data.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase, the database service Stokd runs on, protected by row-level security so each restaurant’s data is only readable by its own members. Payments, when you choose a paid plan, are handled by Stripe — Stokd never sees or stores your card number.

Your choices

You can export your data (items, counts, timesheets) from inside the app at any time. If you close your account and want your data deleted, ask and it will be.
