Stokd is a tool restaurants use to run stock counts, checklists and time-keeping. This page says what data it holds and what happens to it, in plain English.
What Stokd stores
- Account details — your name and email address, used to sign you in and show who did what inside your restaurant.
- Work records — clock-ins and clock-outs, breaks, rotas, stock counts, task completions, prep marks and notes. This is the product: it exists so your team can see it.
- Notification subscriptions — if you turn notifications on, the browser’s push address for your device, used only to send you the notifications you asked for.
What Stokd doesn’t do
- No advertising, and no selling or sharing of your data with anyone for marketing.
- No tracking cookies on this website.
- Nobody outside your restaurant’s team can see your restaurant’s data.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase, the database service Stokd runs on, protected by row-level security so each restaurant’s data is only readable by its own members. Payments, when you choose a paid plan, are handled by Stripe — Stokd never sees or stores your card number.
Your choices
You can export your data (items, counts, timesheets) from inside the app at any time. If you close your account and want your data deleted, ask and it will be.
